Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time night shift role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses and a comprehensive benefits package.

As an RN, you’ll coordinate delivery of quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and leverage state-of-the-art technology to improve patient outcomes. A strong clinical foundation and ED experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have graduated from a nursing program.
  • 1+ year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Previous ED experience required.
  • Current Georgia RN license or multi-state license (NLC/eNLC).
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
  • Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
  • Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.
  • Serves as resource for guidance to staff.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift. Provides clinical care as needed when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
  • Must have graduated from a nursing program. .
  • One (1) Year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
  • Previous ED experience required.
  • Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency.
