Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary seeks a Full-Time Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor (RN) for night shifts with ICU/CCU experience. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate care, communicate with physicians, and respond to clinical changes promptly, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Louisiana RN licensure is required. The role offers competitive hourly pay with shift differentials for night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure unencumbered.
• Acutecare, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care activities performed by RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs.
• Communicate with physicians and staff about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment; foster a positive hospital milieu.
• Keep CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place the facility at risk.
• Provide direct patient care as required based on staffing and acuity.
