Job summary

Beltline Wellness & Rehabilitation in Garland, TX seeks an experienced Charge Nurse to oversee clinical operations on the 7 PM–7 AM shift. You will supervise CNAs, provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing facility, administer medications, and coordinate resident care to ensure safety and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas RN or LVN license, BLS/CPR, 1–2 years in SNF/LTC or geriatric settings, and strong leadership and communication skills to lead a care team.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN or LVN license (RN or LVN).
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1–2 years in SNF/LTC, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and coordinate care with a nursing team.

Job Summary:
Beltline Wellness & Rehabilitation, a leading healthcare provider in Garland, Texas, is seeking a compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team and provide exceptional nursing care to our residents. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring quality resident care, supervising CNAs, and coordinating daily clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Assign resident care duties and coordinate daily workflow
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and maintain compliance with Missouri state regulations
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas
• BLS/CPR Certification
• 1-2 years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively as part of a nursing team
