Viridian Wellness & Rehabilitation in Arlington, TX seeks a Charge Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide nursing care within scope of practice, ensuring patient needs are met per standards, orders, and policies. This is a full-time on-site role with a rotating 6P-6A schedule at a long-term care facility.

Requirements include an active LVN/LPN license in Texas and BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Prior nursing management is preferred but not mandatory, and benefits are provided for

• Must hold active LVN/LPN license in Texas.
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Nursing management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, weight loss or other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

The Charge Nurse will provide nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient's needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

Your Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.

• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.

• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.
