Job summary

Viridian Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Charge Nurse to deliver nursing care within scope, follow standards, and coordinate patient care in a long-term care setting. This role ensures patient needs are met per physician orders and center policies, with rounds as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an LVN/LPN license, BLS/CPR certification, and may have nursing management experience; full-time hours and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents changes in patient's conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Document and notify applicable departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Your Job

The Charge Nurse will provide nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

Your Qualifications

• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
