Job summary

Fort Worth Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) to provide nursing care within scope of practice to meet patient needs in accordance with standards and physician orders. We are also accepting new nurses and multi licenses!

The role involves charting, incident reporting, medication/narcotic processes, and routine rounds with physicians, while following center policies and local guidelines. New nurses are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/RN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other notices.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Notifies applicable departments of room changes, LOA, admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
