Job summary

College Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Weatherford, TX is seeking a motivated Charge Nurse to join our dedicated clinical team. Under the guidance of the DON and ADON, you will supervise nursing staff, coordinate resident care, and ensure high-quality clinical standards.

You will collaborate with Medical Director and attending physicians, participate in evaluating residents, and support team members in growth and development.

Qualifications

• Must have a current nursing license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Conferring with the Medical Director and the attending physician regarding specific residents assigned to you.
• Consulting with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing the nursing services to be performed for the resident.
• Helping your team members grow their careers- you will change lives!
• Examining residents and their records and charts to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional or mental problems.
• Performing administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.

Education

Current nursing license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
