Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead day-to-day operations in our ambulatory surgery center. You will supervise ASC staff, ensure the highest quality patient care, and collaborate with leadership to meet regulatory standards.

The role requires 3+ years of nursing experience, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Ophthalmic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years nursing experience required.
• 2 years of experience in an ambulatory surgery center or operating room preferred.
• Ophthalmic procedures experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
• Inventory management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ASC staff members on shift and ensure quality patient care.
• Perform administrative duties for residents, including charting and reporting.
• Educate staff on new contract obligations and responsibilities.
• Identify areas to improve efficiency and workflow in the ASC.
• Develop and implement internal policies to ensure contract compliance and controls.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate quality improvements and risk management activities.

Participates in onboarding and training of staff.
