Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned nursing unit and coordinate care.
• Supervise nursing staff according to training level and patient acuity.
• Ensure compliance with facility procedures and regulations.
• Maintain safe, efficient shift operation and patient rounds.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Document accurately per regulations and policies.
• Communicate with patients, families, and medical staff about treatment.
• Meet with staff to address issues and improve service.
• Participate in QA and infection control programs.
• Attend meetings and maintain nursing skills competency.
