Job summary

Adept of Nursing & Rehab of Central City is seeking an experienced LPN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and manage daily operations within the unit in Central City, NE.

This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Nebraska (NE).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in LTC or SNF setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification as required by unit or specialty.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for nurses and healthcare staff.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist in staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
• Handle patient concerns and provide conflict resolution when needed.
• Promote a positive and safe work environment.
