MaintainX, a mobile-first work execution platform, is seeking an Account Executive based in Montreal to own a defined market in the US and English-speaking Canada. You will manage the full sales cycle from discovery to contract signing, while leveraging Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo to drive pipeline and close deals.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will close new logos, build your own pipeline, forecast accurately, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.
In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.
We are currently looking for an account executive based in Montreal (Canada).
This role is unique and different from almost everything currently available on the market, because you will have full ownership and responsibility for a defined market at MaintainX. Although you will have many resources to ensure your success, you will be fully involved in the entire cycle: from prospecting to signing, including discovery and demonstration.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and enjoying high visibility within the team, this is a decisive, significant and high-responsibility role. We expect the candidate to think outside the box, thrive under pressure and focus on achieving goals every month.
New logo sales - Your main responsibility will be closing new accounts and consistently meeting monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Prospecting - Although other sources (such as marketing and the BDR team) will provide you with a significant number of prospects, our plan requires that you contribute to the pipeline through your own prospecting efforts.
Lead conversion - You will regularly receive warm leads and you will need to become an expert in managing these leads, from the sales cycle through to contract signing.
Presentations - You will be responsible for presentations, such as discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations and closing calls.
Forecasting - You will need to forecast monthly and quarterly sales accurately, within a margin of error of +/- 15%.
Organization - You will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously: new prospects, demonstrations, proposals, follow-ups, etc. It is essential that you remain organized and that nothing slips through the cracks.
Systems - We are a technology company, so we provide you with cutting-edge technology to do your job. You will become a master of systems such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo and others.
Improving every day - You will benefit from excellent onboarding and training support, but even after this initial period, you need to be open to ongoing coaching and constructive feedback.
Informed leadership - It is important to understand and be passionate about our industry. We expect you to keep learning at each opportunity.
Startup mindset - You will need to adopt the mindset of an entrepreneur and a hard worker who builds something new.
