MaintainX, a leading mobile-first work execution platform, seeks an Account Executive in the United States or Canada with Montreal hubs. You will own a defined market from prospecting to signing, handling longer mid-market cycles (250–5,000 employees) with accountability and autonomy.
You will close new logos, build a strong pipeline, conduct discovery and product demonstrations, and forecast with precision. This role rewards ambitious sellers who thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Location: Canada; United States
MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.
In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.
We are currently looking for an account executive based in Canada or the United States, with our main hubs in Montreal.
This role is unique and different from almost anything currently available on the market, because you will have full ownership and accountability for a defined market at MaintainX. Although you will have many resources to ensure your success, you will be fully involved in the entire cycle: from prospecting to signing, including discovery and demonstration. The mid-market role covers companies with 250 to 5,000 employees, so it is essential that you are able to manage longer, more complex business cycles while closing more transactional deals as they arise.
This is a position that makes a difference, that has meaning and that carries great responsibility. We expect the candidate to think outside the box, to thrive under pressure, and to focus on achieving goals every month.
New logo sales - Your primary responsibility will be to close new accounts and consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Prospecting - Although other sources (such as marketing and the BDR team) provide you with a significant number of leads, our plan requires you to contribute to the pipeline through your own outbound prospecting efforts.
Presentations - You will be responsible for presentations, such as discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations and closing calls.
Forecasting - You will need to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with a margin of error of +/- 15%.
Organization - You will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously: new prospects, demonstrations, proposals, follow-ups, etc. It is imperative that you stay organized and that nothing slips through the cracks.
Systems - We are a technology company, so we provide you with cutting-edge technology to do your job. You will become a master of using systems such as Salesforce, Outreach and others.
Leadership - It is important to understand and be passionate about our industry. We expect you to learn on every occasion.
Startup mindset - You will need to adopt the entrepreneurial and hard-working mindset of building something new.
