Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Chargen Capture Specialist to ensure accurate billing by capturing charges and identifying errors in the Professional Charge postings. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

The ideal candidate will review and post charge batches daily, return incomplete items for correction, and assist with reconciliation of charges on a daily and weekly basis.

Competenze

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional billing experience, preferred.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required. College degree, preferred.

• Returns incomplete charge to department for correction.
• Assist as needed in reconciliation of all charges, daily, and weekly as required.
• Assist with the monitoring of practice charge submission status to ensure timely posting of charges.

• Maintains patient confidentiality by adhering to all HIPAA guidelines.
• Display positive attitude and constructively contribute to the billing team.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Summary

The Charge Capture Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all billing charges are captured in an appropriate manner. Identifies, analyzes and reconciles billing errors or omissions, this includes reviewing and posting of Professional Charge.
