Job summary

Responsibilities

• Be available for counsel and prayer, especially after services.
• Coordinate and conduct Bible study on scheduled night.
• Interview all incoming clients; acquaint them with religious programs.
• Work with the Program Department regarding spiritual needs of beneficiaries.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for operation of the total program.
• Overtime requires written approval of supervisor or designee.

PAY RATE: $18.54 per hour

• Salvation Army officer or minister with some experience in counseling.
• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass a background / motor vehicle records check.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and other office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks

• 10. Overtime. Any and all overtime must have the written approval of the supervisor, Administrator or his/her designee. Authorizing initials must appear on the timecard beside the overtime hours.
• 11. Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned by the Administrator or his/her designate.
