Job summary

Providence is seeking a chaplain to provide professional spiritual care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings in a PACE program. You will serve as a member of the healthcare team, supporting the mission and values while addressing the spiritual and emotional needs of elders in the community.

The role is part-time (20 hours/week, weekday day shift) at our Elderplace Redmond location, with a focus on compassionate care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or equivalent education/experience.
• Four clinical pastoral education units are required.
• National Chaplain Certification must be obtained within 3 years of hire.

The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies similarly accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations or equivalent education/experience
• Coursework/Training: Four clinical pastoral education units
• National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire
