Job summary

Providence PACE Renton is seeking a part-time Chaplain to deliver spiritual care and emotional support to older adults across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. This role requires visiting participants throughout King County and helping empower elders to live active, independent lives within the Providence care network.

You will join a healthcare team dedicated to compassionate care, aligning with the department's mission and values while adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in theology, divinity, spirituality or related chaplaincy studies.
• Four clinical pastoral education units.
• Within 3 years of hire: National Chaplain Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional spiritual care in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Travel to visit participants throughout King County.
• Support the mission, values, policies, and procedures of Providence PACE and the facility.

Description

Schedule: 20 hours/week on weekdays day shift. This role will be traveling to visit participants throughout King County. The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies similarly accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations or equivalent education/experience.
• Coursework/Training: Four clinical pastoral education units.
• Within 3 years of hire: National Chaplain Certification.
