Job summary

Intermountain Children's Home is hiring a Chaplain and Community Outreach for a part-time direct care role in Helena, MT. The position focuses on spiritual care, faith-based programming and engagement with children and families.

The candidate will lead chapel services, build community connections, and collaborate with treatment teams to support holistic healing. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Christian education, 2 years’ experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Christian education or closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in children's ministry or pastoral care.
• 19 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Background check prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead spiritual care and faith-based programming that supports the beliefs, values and treatment goals of children and families.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, faith communities, and community partners.
• Facilitate chapel services, devotionals, cultural celebrations and activities that promote spiritual growth, resilience and belonging.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and organizational leaders to integrate spiritual care into a holistic approach to healing.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Required

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Christian education or closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in children's ministry or pastoral care

• Must pass a Background check prior to start date
