Job summary

Intermountain Children's Services is seeking a Chaplain and Community Outreach to support spiritual care for children and families in Helena, MT. This part-time, direct-care position offers an hourly salary ranging from $23.00 to $31.00 and a benefits package aimed at work-life balance.

Responsibilities include leading faith-based programming, building relationships with families and community partners, facilitating chapel services and cultural celebrations, and collaborating with treatment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Christian education or closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in children's ministry or pastoral care.
• 19 years or older and valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass a Background check prior to start date.

• Build relationships with children, families, faith communities, and partners to support engagement.
• Facilitate chapel services, devotionals, cultural celebrations, and activities promoting growth and belonging.
• Collaborate with treatment teams to integrate spiritual care into a holistic healing approach.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Lead spiritual care and faith-based programming that supports the individual beliefs, values, and treatment goals of children and families
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, faith, communities, and community partner to support engagement and connection
• Facilitate chapel services, devotionals, cultural celebrations, and other activities that promote spiritual growth, resilience, and belonging
• Collaborate with treatment teams and organizational leaders to integrate spiritual care into a holistic, relationship-based approach to healing.

Qualifications:

Required

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Christian education or closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in children's ministry or pastoral care
• 19 years or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass a Background check prior to start date
