Job summary

Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, Inc. in La Crosse, WI, seeks a full-time Chapel Ministries Coordinator to coordinate and administer chapel ministries, volunteers and activities at St. Rose Convent.

The role emphasizes hospitality, sacred conduct and clear communication in line with FSPA values. You will manage scheduling, prayer intentions, tour guides, and chapel use requests, collaborating with departments to support ministry needs; the position offers a generous benefits package

Qualifications

• Experience or a degree related to administration, nonprofit administration, hospitality, event and/or volunteer coordination, scheduling, ministry or communications.
• Previous knowledge of Catholic life/Franciscan spirituality, worship, religious life, and/or Catholic ministry strongly preferred.
• Sound judgment and discretion.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple calendars, requests, volunteers, events and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate systems and processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments and ministries to support chapel activities and ministry needs.
• Collect, organize and submit prayer intentions.
• Manage and schedule prayer partners.
• Manage and schedule tour guides as well as provide chapel tours when needed.
• Manage the chapel use request process, serving as the primary administrative contact.
