Job summary

Walsh University is seeking a Part-time Chapel Services Coordinator to provide operational, administrative, and ministerial support for campus chapels and liturgical life. The role coordinates schedules, volunteers, and events, supports the University Chaplain, and fosters Catholic collaboration with parishes and schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Catholic ministry, campus ministry, or chapel operations preferred.
• Experience coordinating Masses, prayer services, and large ministry events preferred.
• Ability to manage schedules, records, and budgets with attention to confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication for print and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain calendar for chapel spaces and coordinate with Campus Ministry, Facilities and partners.
• Prepare liturgical celebrations and events, including Masses and holy days.
• Recruit and support chapel volunteers and student workers.
• Supervise student workers and ensure proper attire, training, and conduct.
• Count and deposit collections according to cash-handling procedures.
• Develop communications about Mass times and events through email and social media.
• Build relationships with parishes, diocesan offices and Catholic organizations.
