Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks an Analyst Product Manager to support the programmatic channels roadmap for corporate payment instructions and data. You will work with engineers, implementation specialists, and treasury professionals to ensure client submissions are processed accurately and at scale through multiple channels.

You will analyze payment formats, collaborate on new features, and help translate technical specs into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in product management, business analysis, operations, or a related role in payments/financial services.
• Experience in API design and developer experience (DX) including RESTful API product management, developer portals, and API-first strategy.
• Background in electronic payments (ACH, wires, SWIFT, RTP/FedNow, cross-border) and familiarity with payment messaging standards (SWIFT MT, ISO 20022).
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets (Excel, SQL) to identify trends and root causes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate technical specs for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented, organized approach to managing feature delivery from request to go-live.
• Exceptional stakeholder management with ability to influence at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day execution of the API and file-based channels roadmap.
• Assist in converting varied client payment formats to standardized internal formats; troubleshoot mapping.
• Analyze payment transmission data to identify failure patterns, latency, and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers, implementation and servicing teams on new feature requests and delivery.
• Maintain and improve internal docs, runbooks, and format guides used by teams.
• Track and report key operational metrics and translate findings into backlog items.
• Participate in user acceptance testing for new formats, connectivity types, and channel enhancements.
• Flag recurring pain points and propose incremental fixes to formats, validation rules, or processes.
