Job description

Job Title: Channel Performance Manager
  • Location: Midwest
  • Division: Trimble Field Solutions
  • Travel: 65% throughout Midwest states. Remote work when not traveling.
  • Salary: $75,400 - $124,500 USD annually
  • Commission Eligible: Yes

Are you driven to execute sales plans and foster divisional growth?

The Channel Performance Manager (CPM), reporting to the District Manager, oversees all solution sales activities within a defined territory, including direct and distributor sales. You will implement sales strategies aligning with the division's goals, providing support and coaching to distributor sales teams across our product and service portfolio, including TPaaS subscriptions.

Your responsibilities include collaborating with sales teams, managing pipelines, providing forecasts, supporting key accounts, and promoting Trimble's channel programs. You will also facilitate customer acquisition, retention, and dealer development, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales plans with the District Manager.
  2. Engage with end users, distributor leadership, and sales reps.
  3. Provide weekly sales forecasts and market insights.
  4. Manage and translate pipeline activity into sales forecasts.
  5. Generate regular sales reports.
  6. Support on-site sales coaching for distributor teams.
  7. Drive revenue transition to subscription models.
  8. Work in various environments to sell and support products.
  9. Serve as a primary contact for major accounts.
  10. Lead customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
  11. Assist in dealer team development and technical communications.
  12. Monitor and establish dealer KPIs.
  13. Collaborate on product roadmaps and marketing plans.
  14. Ensure dealer and channel partner success and achievement of sales targets.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven technical sales abilities in solution sales.
  • Experience in surveying, civil engineering, or construction domains preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 65%.
  • Knowledge of industry markets and tools.
  • Technical proficiency in product demonstrations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Education:

BS degree in Construction, Technical Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
