Job summary

Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, is expanding its global channel sales team and seeks a results-driven sales professional. You will identify, recruit, and enable distributor and reseller partners, selling open source, cloud, and virtualization solutions.

The role requires a proven track record in software sales, strong communication, and the ability to operate in a startup-like environment across a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree required.
• Experience in software or technology sales.
• Fluency in English.
• Understanding of open source, Linux and Ubuntu.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute channel strategy for distributors and resellers in the assigned territory.
• Identify and recruit new potential partners to grow Canonical's business.
• Engage partners to build and maintain relationships and drive growth.
• Lead onboarding and enablement for partners and deliver GTM plans.
• Provide sales and pre-sales trainings to resellers and manage channel pipeline.
