Gemstar is seeking an experienced Regional Channel Manager to join our team supporting our location in Cannon Falls, MN. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely in MN, MO, or TX and is responsible for the US central region, with frequent travel expected. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with direct case customers and distributors to boost sales and profits. Responsibilities include designing and implementing sales strategies, customer visits, trade show attendance, and supporting company-wide efforts to increase sales volume and profit margins from custom protective case customers.Join Gemini for a great opportunity where our customer commitment and teamwork lay the foundation for success.

A typical day as a Regional Channel Manager includes:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Relationship selling
  • Key account management
  • Annual sales growth planning
  • Managing potential channel conflicts
  • Collaborating with customer service to resolve issues and maintain service levels

Providing Input on:

  • Competitive pricing and positioning analysis
  • Channel marketing support
  • Voice of Customer (VOC) facilitation with partners and end-users
  • Planning and executing new product launches
  • Developing and executing go-to-market channel strategies

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in relationship-based customer-facing channel management or key account management
  • Strong project management and execution skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% during peak periods and approximately 50% annually
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration, marketing, or engineering
  • Previous experience as a key account or sales channel manager
  • At least 5 years of field sales experience with measurable achievements in sales, management, or channel management, preferably in manufacturing
  • Experience selling to government, tier one suppliers, and OEMs
