Position: Regional Channel Manager

Gemstar is seeking an experienced Regional Channel Manager to support our location in Cannon Falls, MN. This role offers remote work options in MN, MO, or TX and covers the US central region with frequent travel expectations. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with direct case customers and distributors to increase sales and profits. Responsibilities include designing sales strategies, customer visits, trade show attendance, and supporting company-wide sales growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship selling and key account management
  • Annual sales growth planning
  • Managing channel conflicts
  • Collaborating with customer service to resolve issues and maintain service levels
Additional Responsibilities
  • Providing input on pricing, channel marketing, VOC facilitation, new product launches, and go-to-market strategies
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in relationship-based customer-facing channel management or key account management
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% during peak periods and approximately 50% annually
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of field sales experience with measurable achievements in sales or channel management, preferably in manufacturing
  • Experience selling to government, tier-one suppliers, and OEMs
