Job summary

Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a Strategic Sales Channel Analyst to join the product team and drive analytics across product and sales channels. You will develop and enhance Power BI dashboards to help leaders understand performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or direct and applicable work experience.
4+ years of experience with data collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
Demonstrated experience providing effective consulting and influencing decisions through sound judgment and data analysis to drive positive business outcomes.
Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, and Business Objects, or similar tools.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to evaluate data accuracy and validity.

Responsibilities

Analyze performance of distribution channels and identify opportunities to enhance channel effectiveness.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and develop data-driven recommendations for sales strategies and reporting objectives.
Design, implement, and monitor sales incentive plans and related rules; prepare supporting analyses for Compensation Review Board.
Provide complete, accurate, and timely reports and analyses for internal users and leadership.
Track data trends, perform routine and non-routine data gathering, and translate findings into actionable insights for sales and marketing teams.
