Job summary

Legends is seeking a part-time Changeover Laborer at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. You will assist with room set-ups and strikes for events, including chairs, tables, stages, and other equipment, and help install ice-related features as needed.

## Changeover LaborerApplylocations: Worcester, MAtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R100122525Under direction, set-up and take down meeting rooms, ballrooms, exhibit halls and arena for various events.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES* Participates in room set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to chairs, tables, risers/stages, stanchions, podiums and other equipment/furniture, etc.* Builds concert stages, installs hockey dashers, glass and related equipment* Install various sporting equipment as required* Installs ice for related events (both indoors and outdoors as needed)* Always perform work in a safe manner, notifying the Supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents and any problems or damagers to facility or equipment* Operate walkie-talkie radio devices when required* Assist as needed/required to clear snow & ice from around the facility & the outdoor skating rink if/when needed (ability to safely & effectively use snow blowers when doing these tasks)SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThere are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
