Job summary

Divcon, based in Dallas, Texas, seeks a Change Order Specialist to coordinate the operational change order process across Field Operations, Project Management, Engineering, and Sales Engineering. You will gather and organize contract requirements, field documentation, labor and material impacts, and schedule effects to support accurate change order development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years in construction change order management, project controls, contract administration, or related fields.
• Experience with change orders, cost exposure tracking, contract compliance in construction.
• Experience in BAS/BMS, MEP, electrical, HVAC controls, or technical subcontractor environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the change order process across active projects by tracking scope, cost, schedule, and field impacts.
• Collaborate with Project Executives, PMs, Engineering, and field teams to gather information for change orders.
• Review contracts, scopes of work, drawings, RFIs, and directives to identify changes outside original scope.
• Collect and organize supporting documentation including labor, material details, field reports, and schedules.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineering to ensure complete information for pricing and submission.
• Maintain visibility into open change events, cost exposure, approval status, and aging.
• Follow up with teams on missing documentation to reduce delays.
