Job summary

Jobtailor in Massachusetts is seeking a capable Business Analyst to gather, analyze, and document business requirements from users and stakeholders, supporting planning, scoping, design, development, testing and rollout.

You will evaluate workflows, identify efficiency gains, coordinate meetings, and track deliverables while partnering with business teams, technology, and vendors to ensure successful product or project launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of transferable professional experience; financial services experience preferred.
• Experience as a business analyst, project analyst, functional product owner, or similar role preferred.
• Experience with Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or qTest is a plus.
• Strong analytical, research, problem‑solving, and data‑gathering skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Escalate risks, issues, and project status changes, and recommend practical solutions.
