Xcel Energy is seeking four interns for the Innovation & Transformation Office to support the centralized Change Management Office in Minneapolis, MN and Denver, CO. You’ll help with stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and data insights while developing change management capabilities.

The role combines in-office collaboration 3 days a week with remote work on other days. The internship runs with a May 24, 2027 start date, offering a blend of hands-on projects and learning across

Qualifications

Current student, Senior/Grad Student as of Fall 2027.
Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in HR, IO psychology, org development, change management, business/management, communications, marketing, or analytics.
Graduate-level students preferred for two of the four roles.

Responsibilities

Support change management activities for projects affecting employees and stakeholders.
Assist with stakeholder analysis, communication planning, leader engagement, and training support.
Organize and analyze data, survey results, and project information to identify themes and actions.
Create executive-ready deliverables: summaries, presentations, dashboards, and updates.
