Xcel Energy offers a marketing & communications internship designed to expose you to internal and external messaging, digital content, social media, and branding. The role supports the Corporate Marketing & Communications team across Minneapolis and Denver locations with hybrid in-person work.

The position emphasizes learning, professional growth, and hands-on project experience in a corporate setting, with opportunities to shadow and contribute across departments.

Qualifications

• Current student, Sophomore or higher pursuing a relevant degree.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) in-person per hybrid policy.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain a broad look at the marketing and communications needs of a major corporation.
• Write, coordinate projects, publish digital content, create digital signage and assist in planning events.
• Participate in initiatives across the department, such as social media coordination, data analysis, and campaign reporting.
