Job summary

Above and Beyond Delivery, Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking an organized HR & Recruiting Coordinator to lead recruiting and onboarding for our driver team and support hiring across the company. This part-time role offers growth into full-time based on business needs and performance.

You will screen, interview, and hire hourly staff, coordinate pre-employment steps, and serve as a friendly point of contact during onboarding. Office-based with occasional early hours and local travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in HR, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR preferred.
• High-volume or hourly recruiting experience preferred; transportation, logistics, or staffing agency experience is a plus.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms (such as iSolved) preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage many candidates and priorities at once.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-volume recruiting for drivers and other hourly roles, and support hiring for other positions across the company.
• Post jobs, review applications, and conduct screening calls.
• Conduct driver interviews in person at our Chandler office, and by video for candidates outside the Phoenix area.
• Schedule interviews for office and administrative positions with hiring managers.
• Prepare and present employment offers.
• Coordinate background checks, MVR reviews, drug screens, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Build a steady candidate pipeline through job boards, job fairs, workforce programs, and community partners.
• Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure onboarding documents are complete and accurate.
• Conduct new hire orientation, then hand off new drivers to the Driver Manager for training.
• Be a friendly, reliable point of contact for new hires during onboarding.
• Check in with new hires during their first 90 days.
• Conduct exit interviews and share trends with leadership.
• Track turnover and hiring metrics and recommend improvements.
