Job summary

West Star Aviation in Perryville, MO is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift (1100). You will perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft, remove and install panels, troubleshoot systems, and operate ground support equipment.

Positions AAMT I-IV reflect licensed prerequisites, with extensive experience on corporate aircraft and FAA compliance. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license or passport is ideal but not mandatory.
• Airframe or Powerplant license is preferred for AMT levels.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal/installations.
• Operating ground support equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Effectively and clearly communicate in English.
• Follow all FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
