Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Perryville, MO. The role includes performing mechanical tasks, parts removal/installation, troubleshooting, de-fueling, engine work and inspections in a fast-paced MRO environment.

Candidates should hold Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses with 0+ years for AMT I or more for higher levels; strong communication in English and willingness to work a shift schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I.
• 2–4 years aviation maintenance for AMT II.
• 4–6+ years for AMT III.
• 6+ years for AMT IV (Master).

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system issues.
• De-fueling aircraft and engine work.
• Operating ground support equipment, inspection and evaluation of aircraft.
