Pilot Assessments is seeking a Challenger 3500 Captain to serve as PIC, lead and mentor First Officers, and ensure safe, compliant operations for every flight. The role requires strict adherence to FAA regulations, company GOM, and operational specifications while delivering premium service.

The Captain will work with dispatch, maintenance, and leadership in a fast-paced environment and will travel as needed to support operations and growth.

Qualifications

• Must have ATP or higher pilot certificate and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate and valid U.S. passport.
• Current Challenger 3500 type rating (fleet).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

About the role

As Captain, you will serve as PIC for the Bombardier Challenger 3500, ensuring safe ground and in-flight operations while mentoring First Officers and collaborating seamlessly with dispatch, maintenance, and leadership. You will be entrusted with regulatory compliance, crew coordination, and premium passenger care on every leg.

What you’ll do

• Exercise full PIC authority for safe, efficient ground and flight operations.
• Verify passenger identification prior to boarding and deliver a high-touch, anticipatory service experience.
• Execute thorough preflight planning and checklist completion; maintain disciplined SOPs throughout each phase of flight.
• Train and mentor First Officers on assigned flights and aircraft; model professionalism and sound decision-making.
• Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, Thrive Aviation’s GOM, operational specifications, and department procedures.
• Communicate proactively with crew, dispatch, maintenance, administration, and leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or senior leadership.

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3,000 hours total time.
• Current pilot certificate (ATP preferred) and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate (must be maintained).
• Valid, unexpired U.S. passport.
• Current Challenger 3500 type rating (typed in company fleet).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a calm, customer-first mindset.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and embrace new challenges as the company grows.
