Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC, based in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Lead Pilot for the Challenger 300 to head a two-pilot crew under Part 135 operations. The PIC will report to the Chief Pilot and, in the absence of the Chief Pilot, the Director of Operations.

This commutable role requires residing in the Western United States. The Lead Pilot will manage flight operations, aircraft readiness, and coordination with VIP and flight teams to schedule owner flights and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CFIs/CFII/MEI certificates preferred but not required.
• Total time 3000 hours.
• 1000 PIC turbine hours.
• Challenger 300 PIC type rating.
• Knowledge of FAR Part 91, 61 and AIM Part Sections 4 & 5.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pilot for Challenger 300 in a 2-pilot account.
• PIC and decision making under Part 135 operations.
• Manage crew schedule and readiness of aircraft.
• Ensure aircraft is owner-ready and compliant with all regulations.
• Oversee SOPs, checklists, LOAs, and related flight documentation.
