Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant in the State of California and have a minimum of three years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual ability is helpful.
• Proficient with computers, EHR, printers, calculator, fax, copy, email and basic communications tools.
• Three or more years of experience as an RDA in a clinic, hospital clinic or dental office.
• Must have current California RDA license and current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Chairside dental assistant duties including operatory setup/breakdown and infection control protocols.
• Take dental x-rays and assist in dental procedures under supervision.
• Support clinic operations: inventory control, instrument maintenance, and equipment upkeep.
• Assist in teaching students and supporting four-handed chairside activities in a dental education setting.
• Participate in required trainings such as BLS, infection control and HIPAA.
