Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an RDA training program or certification.
• California Dental Board radiation exam pass is required.
• 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred; new grads considered in exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist.
• Handle patient comfort and flow to ensure efficient care.
• Maintain patient charts and confidential records.
• Coordinate appointments and lab schedules.
• Operates dental radiographic equipment and processes films.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Cover Dental Receptionist duties as needed.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.
