Job summary

Boyne Resorts is seeking a Lift Operator to assist guests in getting on and off chair lifts, perform pre-opening inspections, and help maintain snow ramps and work areas. This role requires energy, an outgoing demeanor, and strong guest interaction to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities include operating the lift, inspecting equipment, coordinating with other departments, and adhering to safety policies while delivering quality guest service and teamwork throughout the resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the assigned lift under supervision to provide safe uphill transportation for guests and employees.
• Assist with shoveling and raking of snow and ice to maintain ramps, corrals and work areas.
• Inspect the lift prior to operations, including checking switches, chairs, grips and ramps.
• Familiarize with area (lifts and trails) and other departments; assist guests in a courteous manner.
• Follow resort safety policies and guest service expectations; communicate problems to superiors.
• Maintain vigilance for equipment and guest needs; contribute to team safety and cleanliness.
