Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort is looking for a Lift Operator to assist guests by operating the ski lift and ensuring safe, friendly service. You will inspect and test equipment before opening, support snow removal, and maintain clear ramps while delivering a welcoming guest experience.

Ideal candidates are energetic, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests in a fast-paced mountain environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with related experience or training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be energetic and able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner.

Responsibilities

• Operates the assigned lift to provide safe uphill transportation for guests and employees.
• Assists with snow and ice removal to maintain ramps and work areas.
• Inspects lift prior to operations and monitors equipment and facility areas.
• Familiarizes with lifts and trails; assists guests in a courteous manner.
• Adheres to resort safety policies and guest service expectations.
• Communicates issues to supervisors and responds to emergencies.
• Contributes to team safety and cleanliness; participates in safety meetings.
