Role Description

The Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Paralegal is a full-time, on-site position based in Hialeah or Fort Myers, FL. This role supports attorneys in managing Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases from intake through discharge, including, preparing petitions, schedules, and related filings, and ensuring compliance with court and trustee requirements. Daily tasks include drafting and reviewing legal documents, maintaining case files, managing deadlines, communicating with clients, courts, and trustees, and updating case status in Best Case or similar software. The paralegal will coordinate hearing calendars, assist with plan modifications, and follow up on missing information to keep cases moving efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple matters, and provide clear, respectful communication to clients and colleagues.
