Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, manage inventory, and support daily store operations. You will greet customers, assist with product locations, and help ensure accurate stock levels and planograms.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to company policies in a busy retail environment. Training will cover CGO systems, daily reporting, and use of store technology.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED is required.
• No prior experience required.
• Two years or more retail grocery experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and provides prompt, courteous service to resolve concerns.
• Maintains open communication with store departments and management.
• Maintains integrity of CGO system, balances on-hand issues and investigations.
• Uses all required applications and current technology for CGO operations.
• Ensures accuracy and retention of reports and records per company policy.
• Creates daily pick lists for all departments and performs daily out-of-stock counts.
• Investigates overstock and misses in previous deliveries to resolve issues.
• Assists with signage, planogram integrity, and secondary product locations.
• Performs sanitation, follows safety guidelines, and uses PPE as required.
• Performs other duties and may assist in other departments as needed.
