Job summary

Avantor is hiring a Material Handler in Boston to support receiving, storage, and material issuance in a cGMP environment. You will manage vendor inventory, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate ERP transactions while working with manufacturing teams.

Requires a high school diploma and 1+ year in a regulated supply chain, with SAP MM/Oracle experience and barcode scanning skills. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of cGMP/supply chain experience; lab/pharma environment preferred.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle) for inventory transactions and data management.
• Experience with barcode scanning and warehouse systems; supply chain in regulated environments.
• Intermediate Excel and Outlook skills; knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and SDS procedures.
• Must complete onboarding and inventory certifications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock of vendor managed inventory and rotate stock.
• Disinfect materials prior to transfer into classified areas.
• Receive, label, store, and issue raw materials per procedures.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Support ERP-based material movements and stage kits for manufacturing.
