Tate & Lyle in San Diego, CA is seeking a cGMP Facility Compliance Handler to join our operations. This role involves eight-hour shifts, requires ability to work with minimal supervision, multitask, and support EH&S and quality policies.
You will operate forklifts, perform plant maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with cGMP, DOT labeling, hazardous waste handling, and safety protocols. Certification in Ariel Lift and Fall Protection is required.
The cGMP Compliance Handler is typically scheduled on eight hour shifts five days a week. cGMP Compliance Handler must have the flexibility to work on other shifts or overtime when needed. The cGMP Handler must be able to perform job duties with minimal direct supervision and is required to follow an established performance protocol in meeting customary work goals. The position requires a self-started, who can multi-task and adjust to a variety of assignments. The cGMP Compliance Handler must consistently demonstrate effective teamwork behavior. The cGMP Handler will be required to work in several areas of the plant. The cGMP Compliance Handler must have the ability to perform under conditions of continuous physical activity in the execution of their job and lift to 50lbs. As with all employees the cGMP Compliance Handler implements and supports the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) management system and the company's EH&S and Quality Policy.
