Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in San Diego, overseeing planning, yields, and cross-functional coordination. You will mentor operators, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 6–8 years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office. Expect collaboration with Engineering and Quality, tight schedules, and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of related experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to mentor and develop people.
• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day oversight and planning of manufacturing work.
• Inspect operator work and maintain yields/reject data documentation.
• Serve as liaison between operators and supervisors/managers.
• Execute production plans and yield targets within assigned area.
• Assist in scheduling resources/equipment and conduct training.
• Ensure on-time equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D to resolve quality/manufacturing issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform minor set-up/calibration adjustments.
• Address minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance as trained.
