Job summary

Verve Cloud, Inc. is seeking a strategic, hands-on CFO to lead financial strategy and operations in a lean, private equity‑backed environment.

You will partner directly with the CEO, ELT, Board, and PE stakeholders while staying close enough to build the models, forecasts, cash flow, and financial drivers behind key decisions. As the sole FP&A resource, you’ll own budgeting, forecasting, modeling, analysis, and reporting, while supporting leaders as they manage their budgets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience (CFO/VP Finance or equivalent).
• Experience in a private equity‑backed company.
• Strong FP&A and advanced financial modeling capabilities.
• Proven success improving EBITDA and managing cost structures.
• Experience with multi‑million‑dollar senior secured debt facilities, liquidity, lender relationships, and covenants.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
• Experience working directly with Boards, investors, and other external stakeholders.
• Experience with recurring-revenue models such as UCaaS, SaaS, or telecommunications.
• Track record developing high‑performing finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy and operations, partnering with leadership on growth initiatives and enterprise value creation.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, modeling, analysis, reporting, and scenario planning.
• Serve as trusted partner to PE stakeholders and Board, translating complex financials into clear insights.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and capital allocation.
• Lead debt facilities management, covenant forecasting, refinancing activities, and debt administration.
• Ensure strong GAAP reporting, controls, timely close processes, audits, and tax filings.
• Lead and develop Finance and Accounting teams across the organization.
