Job summary

Standard Media Group in Nashville, TN is seeking an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial strategy and operations. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and capital structure across broadcast and digital media properties.

The CFO will partner with senior leaders to drive performance, manage risk, and oversee audits, treasury, and complex transactions, with the option of remote work from the Nashville region or other locations.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership and strategic financial planning.
• Strong communication with stakeholders including lenders and boards.
• Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax coordination, payroll oversight, internal controls, and cash management.
• Partner with operating leaders to evaluate performance, risks, and opportunities and drive financial priorities.
• Help identify, evaluate, finance, and integrate acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
• Coordinate the annual audit and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, insurers, lenders, and service providers.
