CLA is seeking a CFO to lead its State & Local Government (CAAS) practice in Central Illinois with opportunities in Peoria, Champaign, Bloomington and Dixon. The role focuses on scaling outsourcing operations and strategic initiatives while guiding finance teams.

Travel to client sites is required; CPA is preferred but not required. Strong leadership and business development skills are essential to grow and manage client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8 years of accounting/financial experience required.
• State & Local Government experience required.
• Experience in business development and team growth using networks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client leadership on operational and strategic issues using financial analysis.
• Monitor budgets and present operational metrics.
• Maintain GAAP knowledge and financial/operational understanding of industries.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial accounting.
