Placements24 seeks a visionary Chief Financial Officer for a rapidly growing renewable energy company based in Upington, Northern Cape. You will oversee all financial activities, drive strategic planning, capital allocation, and investor relations, reporting to the CEO and Board.

The role requires a CA(SA)/CPA/CFA designation, 10–15 years of financial leadership, and a proven track record in strategic planning, capital markets, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional designation such as CA(SA), CPA, or CFA is essential.
• 10–15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior executive roles.
• Proven ability in strategic financial planning, capital raising, M&A, and investor relations.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and regulatory environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in renewable energy or related industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term financial strategy to support growth objectives.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, FP&A, and tax functions.
• Manage capital structure, debt financing, and equity issuances.
• Lead investor relations with shareholders, analysts, and potential investors.
