Placements24 is seeking a Project Engineer for a fast-growing renewables company in Upington, Northern Cape. You will manage and support solar and wind energy construction projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 4+ years of experience in construction or energy, and proficiency with project management tools. Travel to project sites and relocation to the Upington area are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of engineering or project coordination experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for renewable energy construction projects.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure progress.
• Monitor construction progress against plans and identify deviations.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
